Often, when I am reading a good book, I stop and thank my teacher.”

One great teacher can make all the difference. Teachers may not always see the impact of their work on kids and families but good teaching is a powerful tool.

It is not unusual to find a teacher going out of his or her way to help a student. This could be by offering support in a student’s troublesome personal situation or helping a student conquer a more difficult part of the course, or helping the family to cope with  a special ed. child. This week was dedicated to all of our teachers around the world. It is a time to say thank you to our teachers for all of their help and show our gratitude for all the time and effort that they have put in our education.

The great thing about this event is that it is not only students who can appreciate their teacher, parents  can join in too. So I applaud  all the  teachers out there. Thank you for your hard work, thank you fo your encouraging words, and smiles.
