There Was a Time…..

There was time when a safest place on earth for a child was home. They played freely in their backyard that was grown by the sun and rain. Their parents were able to give them to eat nothing but the most purest and nutritious food.

The toys were hand-picked by their loving parents,  and they were hand-made from the best, the purest, and the  safest materials. They drifted to dreamland in a most comfortable  soft and safe bed…. and then it happened.

Now, we have styrene, polymers, xylene, dixane, and many other toxins added to our precious children’s bed, so their little body can not get  a healthy rejuvenating rest.

The handmade toys were replaced with ones that contains Phthalates, Bisphenol A, and many other unsafe materials. To top all these, it is getting harder and harder to feed our precious children with pure food.

They already ingesting chemicals from a breast milk. Even their food is being tainted with Sodium Nitrate, Aspartame, Butylated Hydroxytoluene, and so many others. That is why my philosophy, if I can not pronounce the ingredient  I am not buying it.

And yes, the backyards and parks they playing at and having fun, also adding to their chemical loads.  It is very scary when the study came out stating that the moment a child is born, there are already 200 chemicals  can be detected  in their body.

We eat , breath and absorbs chemicals every single day. Our simple healthy world had turned upside down, and became more complicated consequently more dangerous. We are facing a staggering amount of diseases, learning disabilities amongst our children. Regardless where you look, it seem to be no where to go. These dangers lurking around in our homes, schools, and every place that we can imagine. Every place that we want to introduce our children  to live  a good life, to learn, to play and to have fun… but at what price?

Can our regulatory agencies, and parents keep up with all the chemicals ?  I am not a scientist, but since Amin’s condition I have learned a lot about toxins, and the more I know, the more terrified I got knowing that there are others out there who are not even aware of  this problem.

So what is the answer? Educate yourself, educate your family and friends , and start making changes in your life. Learn what ingredients to avoid,  what products to buy or not to buy, and research alternatives. Find non-toxic alternatives to all pesticides, herbicides just any … cides.

We can still create a fairy tale  childhood for our kids, where they  can dream knowing that the dream not just staying a dream but it will come alive and it will be their reality in the future.

this is an interesting post. We often have a vague awareness at the back of our minds of the various toxins and chemicals present all around us in our daily lives but don’t bother to do the research about better/safer alternatives. Thank you for this reminder.
